Timonium Room
6:00 PM - The Survivors (2008). The remake in six hours of the 1970s BBC series about a global plague.
Midnight – Come with the Force: Porn Wars I.
2:00 PM – Children of the Stones (1970). Seven 25-minute episodes of a BBC serial, rather much in Nigel Kneale territory, or if you want Dr. Who without costumes of the Doctor.
5:00 PM – Phantom of the Moulin Rouge (1922). A romantic entanglement solved through astral projection. Silent.
6:15 PM – Carry On Screaming (1968). A bizarre turn for the British low-comedy series, taking on PM horror movies. Several minutes longer than the 16mm version at cons years ago.
8:00 PM – Terror From the Pharaoh's Tomb (2007). Locally produced, with Bela Lugosi, Lionel Atwill, George Zucco, Peter Lorre, and Lon Chaney jr.
9:45 PM – Girl in His Pocket/Pocket Love (1958). If you have wondered about this since the photos in PLAYBOY in 1958, here it is. If you were not reading it them, it has a scientist who shrinks his girlfriend. Made in French, a dubbed print.
11:15 PM – A Night of Magic (1941). The best musical about a resurrected Egyptian princess you will ever see. (This is another one; you don't want to see it.) Almost terminally strange.
12:15 AM – Porn Wars II. Sequel to last night's.
10:00 AM – Aquaman (2006). Unsold pilot.
11:00 AM – Mistress of Atlantis/Siren of Atlantis/L'Atlantide (1932). Directed by G.W. Pabst, which meant a lot then. Soldiers find a buried city in the desert with a lost race. The queen is the Maria of "Metropolis," Brigette Helm; from the Pierre Benoit novel.
12:30 PM – The Year of the Sex Olympics (1965). Non-explicit but vicious. A satire on television.
