Ridgley Room 1
6:00 PM - Space Cowboys. Not quite science fiction, certainly space fiction.
8:15 PM – Stargate: Continuum (2008). Second spin-off feature from the series, in which the story is rewritten twice.
10:00 PM – The Ghost Goes Wild (1946). With both fake and real ghosts.
11:15 PM – Monsters: My Zombie Lover.
Midnight – Fantastic Stories 4.
2:00 PM – Scarlet Sails (1961). If not precisely fantasy, it is a poetic fairy tale of a little girl who grows up with impossible fantasies, and a man who contrives to make them real. In Russian with subtitles.
3:30 PM – The Tale of Zatoichi (1961). The very first of the series about the blind swordsman, regrettably made in black & white. In Japanese subtitled in English. Usual revenge and gambling.
5:15 PM – Monsters: Desirable Alien.
6:00 PM – Strange Eons (2006). Rather faithful adaptation of Lovecraft's "The Thing on the Doorstep," with sexual implications he might not have considered (and would not detail anyway.)
7:15 PM – Sadko (1952). Arguably the best pre-Peter Jackson fantasy film ever made, certainly one of the best you have never seen. In Russian with English subtitles.
9:00 PM – From Beyond / Maria's Hubris / Don't Feed the Book. A short and two animations sort of from Lovecraft.
9:30 PM - Annabel Lee / The Raven / The Tell-Tale Heart. A short and two animations from Poe.
10:15 PM – The Music of Erich Zann / My Necronomicon / The Outsider. Two shorts, one animation from Lovecraft.
10:45 PM – The Yellow Sign / Tupilak / The King in Yellow. Shorts from Robert W. Chambers.
Midnight – Not Bewitched.
10:00 AM – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azbakan (2004). The third movie, third year. Description seems superfluous, somehow.
12:30 PM – Valiant (2005). A World War II movie with all the stereotypes, set among British carrier pigeons. Children will miss some jokes, but won't care.
